As promised, here are some of the amazing banners from Sundays procession in London, celebrating 100 years of Women having the vote.
It was such an amazing day - truly empowering and so wonderful to be part of such a massive art work. The atmosphere of togetherness and kindness was so touching, and this is all through the act of creating together.
I feel so privileged and thankful to have been part of this.
All the banners were so different. There were so many colours and sounds that it was hard to take it all in! Some banners were more controversial or shocking than others. What I love the most is the way that these women were brave enough to say what they believe needs being said, and the use of cloth and colour gave these women a voice, and to use it proudly. I felt really proud to be a part of this and felt like some of these women were so brave for being so bold!
