4 days off means time to do some painting
Today I tried out some experimental ink and line drawings.
I have felt very slow today but that made my painting more focused.
I was inspired to work on the theme 'Connect' based on a mental health project I have seen recently.
There was something very comforting about working in a continuous line, making lines join up and filling in gaps between lines. I liked how the ink moves on its own sometimes and I liked not knowing how the connections would meet up or what the overall shapes would look like.
I think I will do some more tomorrow.
